NIA – Also known as “the joy of movement”, is a one hour of choreographed dance performed barefoot, which involves martial arts like Tai Chi; dance arts like jazz; and healing arts like yoga. Nia is more than a workout, it is the “body’s natural way”. It is a lot like chocolate – you have to taste it.
PILATES – Developed from the rehabilitation techniques of Joseph Pilates. Pilates is a safe, sensible exercise system using a floor mat or equipment. It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates greatly improves core strength, increases flexibility, agility, and range of motion. No matter what age or condition, it will be beneficial.
ZUMBA – a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
